I simply love this microwave! We now have extra cooking space when using the back burners on our cooktop. Our older model needed replaced after 20 years and most of the newer models were several inches taller and would leave me with about 13 inches to work with while cooking! We have not missed the extra capacity of our older model one bit. The lighting is a major improvement also. We are enjoying the sleek and modern appearance as well.
I love the minimum footprint!

I love this overhead microwave! It’s perfect for my purposes. It isn’t big enough for bigger cooking projects, but perfect for me. I’ve gained about 6” or a bit more of space to use my stove better from the classic ones. I can not only reach my back burners easier, this micro gives me headroom to see in the pots and pans cooking, I get to see more of my decorative backsplash AND easier to clean it. This micro looks very nice as well and not ‘blocky’ like the classic sizes available. The only thing I wish this had was a setting for an auto on/off nightlight setting. Otherwise I’m very happy.

After less than a year, the painted labels on the outside of the cabinet (start, cancel, open) are wearing off - both on the buttons and on the frame. We are only two people, and I haven't used strong cleaners on the cabinet. I'm told by customer service that the warranty only covers cosmetic defects reported within 30 days of purchase. The paint was fine when we received it, but it won't make it through the first year.
Either bad luck or very poor workmanship.

On 12/11/18 this unit was installed in my home. Today (1/3/19 ) the 4'th replacement was installed. Malfunction after malfunction. Poor factory inspection or workmanship. Would not have replaced it with KitchenAid if I had not replaced all my appliances in the kitchen to match.
