I waited for a very long time before purchasing a new gas stove. I shopped several stores and found a great deal on this stove. Love this stove! Very pleased with it.

GREAT RANGE, DON'T PASS IT UP.

Purchased last week. Overall happy with purchase. Looks great. Really like the slide in look without back splash. Much easier to move pots and pans around on continuous top grates. There are some basic design flaws that I would like point out:- Oven grills are super thin and flimsy. Seems like for the money they could have been better built.- No stop on oven grills so that they come out when pulling things out of oven. This is really a crazy oversight.- Can't really get any of the burners to go to super low simmer. Is there a way to adjust this? So that is my experience with this product. I hope it lasts a while. Time will tell.

Great everything

I got this stove deeply discounted and now I can see why. Although it's easy to use, reasonably simple and attractive, it is not a good design. The oven racks are the cheapest I have ever seen. The metal is so thin it flexes when you put a dish on it! There are no stops on the back of the rack to prevent them from sliding all the way out when you pull a hot dish out of the oven. The oven vent at the back of the cooktop points forward at the cooktop grates, so when you bake, they get burning hot. You can't leave anything on the back of the cooktop that you don't want to cook along with whatever you're baking. I learned this by burning myself on an empty pan that was sitting at the back of the cooktop waiting to be heated. I've never had a range gas or otherwise (and I've cooked on wood burning stoves) that did this. The burner grates are way too high and far away from the flames. Pans hover about an inch above the flames, taking forever to heat, wasting energy. If you happen to drop something small near the burner holes or spill liquid in there, good luck getting it out. The manual clearly states that you absolutely can't lift the cook top. I ended up in this situation and could NOT BELIEVE I was expected to call an appliance repair service to retrieve small part that fell in there. I just looked at the screws and the gas lines, then opened it, grabbed the missing part and put it back together in about 10 minutes. The bad news is, if you get liquid down there, it's going right into the fiberglass insulation sitting underneath. Gross.I think Frigidaire should engineer replacement oven racks and cooktop grates for these units and offer them to their customers.
