All 3 LG appliances croaked, including our LG dryer, (we had to put in a new "motherboard" (brains), which was really expensive)...so when we lost the washer we decided to just get both brand new, and a better brand in Whirlpool. We always had gas, but opted for electric this time. I do love it, as it has choice of options in drying times/temps etc...and I can use timed dry again!!...which I love for dewrinkling items quickly. It heats right up and does a great job!

I have been using this machine for about two months now. It is pretty quiet! The only hiccup we had using is that you gotta be so gentle. No more pressing buttons... Just gentle touch.
